Mr Justice Coulson rules that Courts have full discretion to order costs budgets whatever the size of damages at stake
In CIP Properties (AIPT) v Galliford Try Infrastructure and others [2014] EWHC (TCC), Mr Justice Coulson decided the points of principle against the claimants, and ruled that the court has a complete discretion to decide whether costs budgets should be filed and exchanged whether or not damages exceed £10m.
